USB

Today, usb or universal serial bus is a must have item for people around the world. It is a portable memory carrier that can be used when it is connected with any devices that has a usb port. I believe it was invented mostly for students and workers that needs to transfer data to another place. I heard people back then had to plug many devices to computer just to transfer data one place to another. Now it is much easier to use and it's been used universally at anywhere even when you're outside. Because of its sensitivity, it needs to be protected with plastic or metallic cover that has a rectangular shapes. However sometimes when I see somebody having a usb that is uncovered and the chip is completely exposed, I get really worried if their data gets crashed.

Since most people has their own usb, they put all kinds of information inside like the inventory lists, word documentary, etc. Even they will add something really personal in it too. Personally, I don't like to keep something too personal inside my usb because I'll get terrified if I lost mine and somebody sees inside. If any personal data gets into somebody's hands, it is extremely dangerous. I feel like there should be something else to have an extra protection. Like in future, there will be finger print scanner on usb and if the finger print doesn't match, it will give you an electric shocks.

Brompton bicycles

I've been riding a bicycle almost everyday until my crossbike broke down last month. To be honest, I was getting tired of bicycles that has huge tires that will often get in people's way. So I started to look for folding bicycles. However most of them were either affordable but low quality or expensive but the design is not my type. The most important thing I look at is design and quality, so there was a limited choices for me. This blog is about designs, so I'm going to introduce a bicycle that I have in my mind now.

Brompton Bicycle
Brompton bicycle is a customizable folding bicycle that is hand made with the company's original parts. Everything is hand made in London.

I fell in love with a design of this bicycle at first sight. Of course it is a folding bicycle so it can fit anywhere, but not just only that! The compactness when folded is amazing too, but the look of it when unfolded is stylish and has some kind of 'traditional' look.

Also there are several colors you can pick for the frames. You can even order a duo tone colored bicycle!

There is no need to be worrying about theft and it might look like a part of your interior object.

People might think that these types of bicycle doesn't have all of the important parts or it might be slower than the regular bicycles. However these bicycles are called minivelo, and they are designed to be smaller but fast as the regular bicycles. It can have several level of gears, so it is worth to have them. The problem of these bicycles are the prices and possible extra fees when fixing a specific parts. Also these special bicycles can be repaired only at certain stores, so it might be tough to get a maintenance.

Geometric page layout

BEATLESS ]
Author: Satoshi Hase
Illustration: redjuice

This is an official website for Japanese science fiction novel. Since the theme is about science and technology, the page layout is very geometrical. The logotype has the look of corrupted image and it matches with the entire page. Illustration is tinted and the dashed grid lines are covered on top yet still gets a full attention. When the cursor is rolled over on certain area that has the red word labeled 'Keyword', a red text box with explanation of the term that is used in the novel will appear. This website doesn't have any icons other than the small arrows pointing where you can click, so the entire page flows smoothly without and distraction.
